Support

We're happy to help with MyCareRoster.

MyCareRoster keeps your family's GPs, specialists, and care teams, and the details new-patient forms ask for, in one private place, built from your own Contacts list named "Medical". If something isn't working or you have a question, get in touch and we'll get back to you.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the sample family?

June, Kate, and Isla are a fictional family that shows how MyCareRoster works on first launch. They exist only in memory and are never saved or synced. Choose Turn Off Sample Data (also in Settings) to set up your own roster.

Where do my providers come from?

From a list named "Medical" in the Contacts app. MyCareRoster can create the list for you, create a new provider contact, or add contacts you already have. Edits you make in Contacts appear in MyCareRoster after a refresh.

A contact couldn't be added to the Medical list. Why?

Contacts lists belong to one account, such as iCloud or Gmail. A contact stored in a different account from the Medical list can't join it, and MyCareRoster won't copy or duplicate it. Move or recreate the contact in the same account as the Medical list.

How do I keep my iPhone and iPad in sync?

Sign in to the same Apple Account on both, with iCloud and iCloud Keychain (Passwords and Keychain) turned on. Your roster syncs automatically, encrypted. A new device may need a moment for iCloud Keychain to deliver the encryption key; tap Refresh if your teams haven't appeared yet. If a provider's contact doesn't match exactly on both devices, MyCareRoster asks you to confirm the match.

Do private profiles sync?

Only if you turn on Settings > Private Profiles > Sync with iCloud on each device. Profiles are encrypted on your device before they are stored in iCloud. Turning sync off keeps them on the device and lets you delete the iCloud copy.

What does MyCareRoster Unlimited include?

The free version includes one family member, two care teams, and three providers in those teams, and it never expires. Private profiles, notes, and encrypted iCloud sync are included free. MyCareRoster Unlimited is a one-time purchase that removes the limits on family members, care teams, and providers. It isn't a subscription.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Sign in with the same App Store account, then open Settings > Restore Purchases in MyCareRoster. Restore Purchases is also on the MyCareRoster Unlimited screen.

What is Support Info, and how do I send it?

If we ask for it: in MyCareRoster, open Settings and tap the version number seven times to show Diagnostics. Open Support Info, tap Copy All Support Info, and paste it into your email. It lists app, device, sync, and purchase details, but no names, contact details, notes, or health information, and nothing is sent unless you paste it. Tap the lock icon beside the version to hide Diagnostics again.
